Digital Display Group Announces the Completion of State-of-the-Art Mount Airy Casino & Resort
Newly constructed entertainment property receives proprietary CastNET digital signage solution
Minneapolis, MN, October 17, 2008– Digital Display Group (DDG), a division of Alpha Video & Audio, Inc., announced that it has completed the design and installation of a digital signage solution at the Mount Airy Casino & Resort, located in Mt. Pocono, PA. DDG utilized its revolutionary CastNET digital signage solution to exceed the expectations of the property, including providing the hardware, software, and custom content to drive the system.
The property, which was being newly constructed, wanted to make a statement using digital signage, as well as provide the ability to advertise its superior accommodations, and enhance the excitement of its gaming facilities. Mike Ray, Executive Director of IT/CIO, said, "From the very beginning, we wanted to utilize digital signage to inform our patrons of our current and upcoming promotions, display jackpot and promotion winners, advertise upcoming shows and schedules, display restaurant menus, and much more. Digital Display Group worked simultaneously with the property during the construction phase of the casino and resort, and provided a network-based solution utilizing its CastNET digital signage software. DDG also added special features, including a link to progressive jackpot data, the ability to display live data as an overlay on live TV feeds, as well as created custom content to drive the signage system.
