Hines Management, the world's largest manager of investment properties and operator of office space in Minneapolis, wanted a more cost-effective and environmentally friendly alternative to static signage in its Wells Fargo building. The management company sought to replace its stagnant directory boards that were out of date and inefficient, and replace them with digital directories that would enable employees and visitors to find the building tenants quickly.
Digital Display Group (DDG) was contracted to design and install digital signage using its proprietary CastNET digital signage solution, providing an effective and more aesthetically appealing solution that exceeded the management company's objectives.
In the past, the tenants of the Wells Fargo building would have to send the directory boards to a printing agency every time an update was needed. This practice was inefficient and costly, especially due to increasing transportation and labor prices. With the eight new digital directories and CastNET digital signage that DDG provided, Hines Management has constant control of the messaging and is able to immediately make updates using custom templates that preserve the Wells Fargo look and feel.
Paul Medlin, Associate Director of New Business of Digital Display Group, says, "The CastNET signage solution that we integrated into the Wells Fargo building is superior in its ease of use and cost-effectiveness. We are thrilled to be able to provide a solution that is environmentally friendly, and are hopeful that this will become a worldwide partnership with Hines Management."
The installation has proven to be much more efficient for the tenants and the 100,000 people that traverse through the center on a weekly basis. The project was completed in July of 2008.
