Overview
NewsJET is a yearly subscription service provided by the Digital Display Group that is delivered automatically multiple times a day to either CastNET or Scala content channels. These channels “Pull” the content from the NewsJET server located in a secure 24/7 location. There are four different News sections available that can be ordered separately or in any combination. They are described below.

News
This is news provided throughout the day by the Associated Press. There are multiple categories such as “World News”, “DC News”, “National News”, “Trivia”, “Strange News”, “Sports”, and others. The User is provided all of these news sections and can choose which they prefer to show.

Weather Data
The “Weather Data” section provides the local weather forecast, which is accurate to within 10 miles of the provided zip code. Forecasts include weather graphic icons. The User can choose a 2-day forecast, today’s forecast, 3 day forecast, and many other options. This data can be automatically placed either within the Digital Display Group’s “MessageBAR” product, or as full information screens within the User’s Scala Script.

Weather Maps

The “Weather Maps” section delivers full screen satellite style weather maps multiple times a day, which can be inserted into the User’s CastNET or Scala scripts.

Stocks
The NewsJET “Stock” section provides publicly traded stocks and indices to the MessageBAR product or to the User’s CastNET or Scala scripts multiple times a day. The Dow index is not included but is available as a special order.
